Our story

Built by an investor, for investors.

What began as a side project grew into something we never planned for — and could not explain by effort alone. We started Chanticleer after years of disappointing experiences with other property management companies. As investors who bought our first rental in 2009 and now own dozens of properties across North Carolina, we built a team to do for other owners what we wished someone had done for us: treat every property with care, communicate honestly, and protect the investment behind it.

The business grew faster than we expected. Along the way, we began to see God's hand in it — not as a slogan, but as a daily reality. We believe He is the true owner of this company. Every person on our team is called to be faithful stewards of the work He has given us: conduits of His blessing to the owners and tenants we serve.

That conviction shapes how we operate. We manage properties to the standard we would want for our own. We answer calls, solve problems, and show up — because excellent service is how people experience care in tangible ways. We run Chanticleer to God's glory, so that through integrity, reliability, and genuine help, He may be known.

President

Carla founded Chanticleer after years as a rental investor across North Carolina. As president, she sets the standard for how every property, owner, and tenant is cared for across the Triangle, Triad, Fayetteville, and Charlotte Metro.

Garrick Sevilla

General Counsel and Accounting Director

Garrick oversees legal compliance, corporate governance, and accounting operations for Chanticleer and its owner clients. He ensures financial reporting, contracts, and regulatory requirements are handled accurately and transparently.

Triangle and Fayetteville Office Manager

Alexis leads day-to-day operations for the Triangle and Fayetteville offices. She coordinates owner communication, staff workflows, and the front-line support that keeps properties running smoothly in both regions.

Turnover Specialist

Hannah manages unit turns between tenants — coordinating cleanouts, repairs, and make-ready work to reduce vacancy. Her focus is getting homes rent-ready quickly without cutting corners.

Jacqueline assists with leasing showings, applicant communication, and scheduling throughout the Triangle. She helps prospects find the right rental and supports the team through screening and lease preparation.
